Who are we?

The Campus Training School was developed by Linda Venekamp as part of a Governor's Summer Grant awarded by Governor William Janklow.  The purpose of the site was to create a resource for education students at Dakota State University and other educators, to provide a showcase for student work and to have a web site that students can experiment with and develop.

The site is maintained by students who are enrolled in EDFN 365 Computer Based Technology and Learning.  Students are assigned to a specific room.  Their responsibility is to check all of the sites to see that they are still active or to change the URL if necessary.  They also need to add new sites and student projects.  They follow a style sheet so all of the rooms look similar, but are also encouraged to make the room as attractive and useable as possible.  One of our newest projects is developing a list of curriculum themes that have Internet sites for teachers and students. 

We welcome comments and enjoy hearing from viewers.  We especially like recommendations for new sites.  Thank you for your interest.
