To All About Butterflies

Theme - I chose Butterflies for my theme. It is for Second Grade students. I think that this would be best used in the Spring or Fall. Possible standards that might be addressed include:

•    Describe how some animals (frogs and butterflies) go through distinct stages during their lives while others generally resemble their parents throughout most of their lives.

• Identify behavioral and physical characteristics of plants and animals that help them survive in their habitat.

• identify factors that may cause habitats to change over time.
