All About Penguins

Theme- I chose penguins as my theme. This is for 2nd grade students. This would be a great theme to use in the winter. Here are some standards that can used.

South Dakota Standards

• describe similarities and differences of animals.

• classify and analyze living things by structure and function. (example: bird’s beak and what the bird eats)

• identify behavioral and physical characteristics of plants and animals that help them survive in their habitat.
