INCLUSION BENEFITS

1.   Identified students are ensured equal access to the core curriculum.

2.   Teaching methods, techniques, and strategies are enhanced.

3.   A wider variety of interventions and modifications have been attempted with                  students.

4.   Non-identified and non-qualifying students benefit.

5.   Stigmatizing and labeling of special education and low-achieving students is                 minimized.

6.   Interaction among special and regular education students is maximized.

7.   All students have access to additional assistance.

8.   The Special Education department become an integral part of the mainstream of                  educational services.

9.    The principles of Least Restrictive Environment (LRE), are served.
