Art

Artists were important featured entertainers at the Chautauqua.  Chalk-Talkers were favorites.  They told stories while illustrating them.  Caricatures were another form of entertainment as well as a popular souvenir.  Additional drawing and painting classes were offered.  Enjoy some of these art activities with your students.
