Military Artifacts

Terry Ryan, DSU's Dean of Student Affairs, has different military artifacts at the Smith-Zimmermann Museum.  Officer Ryan was in the Vietnam War and was shot through the ear and thumb while looking for North Vietnamese through his binoculars.  He was the only American with a group of South Vietnamese Rangers.  After he was shot, he stayed at Vietnam, instead of coming back to American.  He then joined the Green Berets for another year until his service for our country was finished.
