The Internet provides wonderful opportunities to visit some of the worlds most famous
Museums.
From art to history to hands-on science museums, students will enjoy a field trip to a
museum.

 | NYC's Metropolitan Museum of
Art - Can't go the art, have the art come to you. |
 | Smithsonian American Art Museum - the
museum in Washington, D.C. is closed for renovations until 2003, but you can
visit anytime. |

 | The Museum of Science and
Industry in Chicago, Illinois is a great place to take your
students. You can learn about and check out the Titanic, Mt. Everest,
and even take a tour through a fantasy castle. |
 | Carnegie Museum of Natural
History has many fun and exciting exhibits to visit and explore.
It is one of the largest natural history museum in the world. |
 | Fort Morgan
The Fort Morgan
Museum not only has permanent exhibitions but also temporary exhibits using museum
collections and traveling exhibits from other institutions from throughout the United
States. The Museum Store also has many items relating to the region. |

Francisco. The Exploratorium is a museum of science, art, and human perception with over

Public Schools Virtual Museum is a must see for teachers. This site has many
virtual tours that you can link to. It also has virtual museums that students have
created. This site contains anything that you would want to know about virtual
museums and how to use them in your classroom. |

Perhaps the best known history, art and science museum in the United States. |
 | Musée du Louvre,
Paris. Take an unbelievable field trip to the world famous Louvre. Look for other art
galleries in the Curriculum Center Art Room. |

University of California. On-line exhibits, questions and answers, and wonderful pictures. |

Museum, San Diego, CA. This site contains pictures of some of the exhibits in
