Theme:

For my theme I chose Exploring Underwater.  This theme is for second grade students and could be used anytime during the school year.  The standards that will be addressed include:

• describe similarities and differences of plants
• describe similarities and differences of animals
• compare plants and animals in their immediate surroundings with those in other habitats
• identify behavioral and physical characteristics of plants and animals that help them survive in their habitat
