bulletLearn about Your Music Heritage -- Avenue Two contains a description of variety of different cultures of roots music including Caribbean West Indies Music, Zydeco, Mardi Gras and Carnivals, Tex-Mex/Tejano, Conjunto, Cajun, Blues. The page also includes a sample of a number of the different types of music. Use this site in a lesson to have the students study their background heritage and discover their music heritage. 
bulletPlaymusic.org - This is such a terrific site to learn about the orchestra and the different instruments.  You can hear the different instruments, play games, talk to the director and much more.
