Theme: I chose Whales for my theme.  It is designed for Third Grade.  You could tie in a whale unit plan during just about any time of the school year.

    Explain how behavioral and physical adaptations allow animals to respond to life needs.                                                  

    Explain reasons for the extinction of species.

    Investigate and understand how environments support a diversity of plants and animals that share limited resources.

    Describe ways humans impact air, water, and habitat quality.
