Theme- I chose Thanksgiving for my theme. Is is for third grade students, to use during the Thanksgiving season. Some of the standards you could cover are:
- compare the lives of people and events associated with major holidays, including Thanksgiving
- analyze human relationships and roles between and among individuals and groups, cultural groups and a community, and communities and state
- summarize the various reasons for exploration and settlement of the United States through the study of Spanish, English, and French explorers, including religious reasons, economic reasons, and geographical reasons
