AFRICAN SAFARI  

                                Theme ~ We chose African Safari as our theme.  It is for
                                students in grades 3-5. 

                            Standards that could be introduced in this unit include:

                       - Students are able to identify characteristic features
                                       of animals and their related functions in relationship
                                       to their environment.

                                   -  Students are able to describe how species depend on
                                       another and on the environment for survival.
                                       

                                        -  Students are able to describe ways humans impact air,
                                      water, and habitat quality.
