Theme  -  I chose weather for my theme.  It is for fourth grade students.  I think it would be best used in the spring due to erratic changes in the weather.  Possible standards that might be addressed include:

• explore the scientific process as identifying a problem, developing a hypothesis, experimenting, collecting data, and drawing conclusions.
• describe how weather conditions and phenomena occur and can be predicted.

• describe the causes for Earth’s seasons.

• identify the positive and negative impact of weather on the environment.
