Snow is white
It is a beautiful sight
It sprinkles slowly to the ground
Until the ground is white around

The theme we have chosen is winter.  It would be best used at the beginning of winter around December.  It is geared toward 4th graders.  Here are some of the standards we will be using:

4th Grade Earth/Space Science Standards

  1. Describe how weather conditions and phenomena occur and can be predicted.
  2. Describe the causes for Earth’s seasons.
  3. Identify the positive and negative impact of weather on the environment.
