U.S. Presidents

The theme of this project is Presidents.  We will be taking a look at all of the different presidents that the United States has had, and learn a little more about their lives.  This project could be a lead in to learning about our government and the legal system.

Possible Standards

• recognize that there are various government bodies such as councils, boards, and legislatures.
• explain the process of making rules and laws, enforcing laws, voting, becoming a citizen.
• explain the fundamental ideas and principles that form the foundation of our government and various communities of the past and present with emphasis on life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, and equality under the law.
