Dinosaurs
Let's look for bones,
dig, dig, dig.
Dinosaur bones,
big, big, big.
Back to the lab,
zip, zip, zip.
Clean the bones,
chip, chip, chip.
Put them together,
so, so, so.
We've built a dinosaur,
oh, oh, HO!

Theme: I
choose to do my theme on dinosaurs. Dinosaurs
should be introduced to a 1st grade classroom. Some standards that
may be introduced are:
-
describe various
forms of information left by prehistoric animals and their habitats
-
classify animals
according to physical characteristics
-
explore how
organisms are dependent upon each other for
survival
-
identify
characteristics of plants and animals that allow them to live in
specific environments
